“another ball for the Atlantic or even the Caribbean Sea!”

Tobago offers the golfer two exceptional 18-hole par 72 international championship golf courses at the Tobago Plantations Golf and Country Club on the Atlantic side and the Mount Irvine Bay Hotel and Golf Club on the Caribbean Sea. Both golf courses are set amidst old coconut plantations with spectacular sea views and for the golfer are challenging and exciting.

The Tobago Plantations Golf course is a British designed PGA Championship Course and is just over 7000 yards long. It has been carefully planned to create holes of very distinctive character, with varied landscapes incorporating natural and artificial lakes, mangroves, wild grasses and woodland copses. These encourage wildlife which makes a round of golf on the Island quite special!

A Golf Academy offers teaching from PGA qualified golf professionals experienced in tutoring golfers from all nationalities together with outstanding practice facilities, large putting green, bunkers and even video analysis of your game.

The Tobago Plantations Senior Classic as part of the European Seniors Tour 2003 was held here in April of this year for the second time with Australia’s Terry Gale continuing his spectacular run of form – putting Tobago on the worldwide golfing “map”.

Tobago Plantations Golf and Country Club is the first ever fully integrated resort development on the island with dream houses available for rental or sale around the golf course.

The Golf Course at The Mount Irvine Bay Hotel enjoys a beautiful location overlooking the Caribbean sea with magnificent views across Mount Irvine Bay and Buccoo Reef. The course was designed by John D. Harris is 6793 yards long. The fairways are wide open and the views stunning – a round of golf at Mount Irvine is sheer delight for the golfer!
