Tobago offers the golfer two exceptional 18-hole
par 72 international championship golf courses
at the Tobago Plantations Golf and Country Club
on the Atlantic side and the Mount Irvine Bay
Hotel and Golf Club on the Caribbean Sea. Both
golf courses are set amidst old coconut plantations
with spectacular sea views and for the golfer
are challenging and exciting.
The Tobago Plantations Golf course is a British
designed PGA Championship Course and is just
over 7000 yards long. It has been carefully
planned to create holes of very distinctive
character, with varied landscapes incorporating
natural and artificial lakes, mangroves, wild
grasses and woodland copses. These encourage
wildlife which makes a round of golf on the
Island quite special!
A Golf Academy offers teaching from PGA qualified
golf professionals experienced in tutoring golfers
from all nationalities together with outstanding
practice facilities, large putting green, bunkers
and even video analysis of your game.
The Tobago Plantations Senior Classic as part
of the European Seniors Tour 2003 was held here
in April of this year for the second time with
Australias Terry Gale continuing his spectacular
run of form putting Tobago on the worldwide
golfing map.
Tobago Plantations Golf and Country Club is
the first ever fully integrated resort development

The Golf Course at The Mount Irvine Bay Hotel
enjoys a beautiful location overlooking the
Caribbean sea with magnificent views across
Mount Irvine Bay and Buccoo Reef. The course
was designed by John D. Harris is 6793 yards
long. The fairways are wide open and the views
stunning a round of golf at Mount Irvine
