The catch of your life
The water around the Island of Tobago is a fishing
haven and anglers can expect to find world class
deep sea fishing. Tobago has rapidly moved into
the front rank of destinations for the professional
fishermen while even the novices can enjoy a
catch beyond their dreams!
The moods and movements of two great currents,
the Orinoco outflow and the chilly South American
current result in a seasonal rhythm which gives
anglers an opportunity to catch at least nine
prime species. October to April is the prime
time for marlin, tuna, wahoo and dolphin with
the best marlin bite coming in January, February,
March and April. Permit and bonefish are plentiful
all the year round in Tobago apart from September
and October.
In April the Island of Tobago hosts the biggest
International Game Fishing Tournament in the
Southern Caribbean, held at Pigeon Point.
Fully manned and equipped Charter boats for
deep sea fishing can be booked from Pigeon Point
and Speyside for a half day or full day by anglers
wishing to enjoy a special fishing adventure.
We are here to help you with your arrangements.
